Eligibility Criteria for Jammu & Kashmir High Court Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:- District Judges (Entry Level)
- Candidate must have Passed a Degree in Law from a recognized University established by Law in India and recognized as such by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit should be a Minimum age of 35 years and a maximum age of 45 years.
Selection Process for Jammu & Kashmir High Court Recruitment 2024
The selection process for District Judges (Entry Level) in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court involves two main stages. First, the candidates must clear a written examination consisting of two papers, each carrying 80 marks, with the syllabus provided by the court. After this, there is a viva voce test of 40 marks. Candidates scoring at least 60% in the written test are eligible for viva-vos, the ratio of three candidates for each available vacancy.

Candidates have to apply for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Eligible Advocates have to visit the official website of the High Court on or after 09.06.2024.
They have to fill out the online application form with correct details and upload required documents like birth certificate, residential certificate, law degree certificate, experience certificate, and any reserved category certificate if applicable. After filling out the form, candidates have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 1200 through online mode. The deadline for submission of the online application along with the fee is 23.06.2024.
