Educational Qualification:
1. For Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2. For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
3. Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
4. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
5. Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager):
i. Information Technology Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology.
ii. Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
iii. Law Officer: Degree in Law or its equivalent
iv. Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
v. Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing
vi. Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Pisciculture.
6. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Age Limit:
- For Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Minimum 18 years, and Maximum 28 years
- For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years, and Below 30 years
- For Officer Scale-II (Manager): Above 21 years, and Below 32 years
- For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years, and Below 40 years
Salary Details:
The salaries for IBPS RRB officers vary based on the position and follow the latest pay commission. Here is a table showing the approximate monthly salaries:
- Officer Scale-I: Rs.60,000 to 61,000/-
- Officer Scale-II: Rs.75,000 to 77,000/-
- Officer Scale-III: Rs.80,000 to 90,000/-
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Rs.35,000 to 37,000/-
How to Apply
Candidates can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in the officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
- Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post.
- Candidates can apply online only. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Candidates can apply online only from 07.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Selection Process:
For IBPS RRB Officer 2024, the examination process will comprise three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
The final selection will be based on the combined scores from the Mains Exam and the Interview process.
