International Institute for Population Sciences Eligibility Criteria
The Essential Qualifications and Knowledge, Desirable Qualification/Experience/Knowledge required for IIPS Research Officer recruitment are detailed below.
Qualifications and Knowledge
1) Awarded Master’s Degree in Statistics/Population Studies/Demography,
2) Knowledge of large-scale data like Census, NFHS, LASI, NSSO, etc.
3) Knowledge of statistical software STATA, SPSS, SAS, R, Python, etc.|
4) Knowledge of machine learning methods and web-scraping.
Desirable Qualification/Experience/Knowledge
i) Awarded PhD degree in Statistics/Population Studies/Demography,
ii) Knowledge of linear algebra, regression analysis, biostatistics, applied algorithms and time series analysis,
iii) Experience in applying machine learning methods and web-scraping,
iv) Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI),
v) Excellent command of R software management.
