Eligibility Criteria for Nadia District Court Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. For Steno-Typist for Fast Track Courts –
- Candidate must have passed minimum Madhyamik or its equivalent.
- English Short Hand Speed 80 w.p.m.
- English Typewriting -30 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of English and Bengali language and computer operation.
2. Bench Clerk for Fast Track Courts –
- Candidate must have passed minimum Madhyamik or its equivalent.
- Knowledge of English and Bengali language and computer operation.
Age limit: –
(i) In case of retired persons, below 63 years of age as of 01-07-2024.
(ii) In the case of fresh candidates, the age should be a minimum of 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 01-07-2024.
Pay Scale:-
1. For Retired Persons:- [Last Pay at the time of Retirement (Salary + Dearness Allowance)] – [Pension + Relief on Pension on Contract Date]
2. For New Candidates:-
(i) Basic Pay at the level attached to each post of Steno-Typist — Level 9, Basic Pay Rs.28,900/-
(ii) Bench Clerk/ Peshkar — Level 6, Basic Pay Rs.22,700/-
Selection Process for Nadia District Court Recruitment 2024
(i) For Peshkar/Bench Clerk- Preliminary Examination and Compulsory Computer Test followed by Interview with Document Verification.
(ii) For Steno-Typists – Open recruitment process on the basis of “Walk-in-Interview and Typing and Computer Test”.

Application Process for Nadia District Court Recruitment 2024
Candidates to apply for the post of Steno-Typist or Bench Clerk (Peshkar) in Fast Track Court under Nadia Judge, please download the application form from the official website of Nadia Judge. Self-attested photocopy of educational certificate, computer knowledge certificate (for Bench Clerk/ Peshkar), photo identity proof, residential address proof, age proof, and certificate of any relevant extracurricular activities (if admissible).
Place the application along with the documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the post applied for. Submit the envelope at the drop box of English Section, District Judge Court, Nadia during office hours (11 AM to 6 PM) from 01-07-2024 to 15-07-2024.
