Eligibility Criteria for National Museum Delhi Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. Deputy Curator (Anthropology) –
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Museology/ History of Art; or
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Indian History/ Sanskrit/ Pali/Prakrit/ Persian/ Arabic/ Archidology/ Anthropology/ Fine Arts Diploma from a recognized institution in Museology or equivalent.
- Three years experience in a museum of national/regional importance under the control of the Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territories.
- One year of research experience with evidence of published research work in the field of Anthropology.
2. Curator (Numismatics & Epigraphy) –
- Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Museology/ History of Arts; or
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Museology from a recognized institution with a Diploma in Indian History/ Sanskrit/ Pali/Prati/ Persian/ Arabic/ Archaeology/ Anthropology/ Fine Arts or equivalent.
- Five years experience in a museum of national/regional importance under the control of the Central Government/ State Government/ UT;
- One year of research experience with evidence of published research work in the field of Numismatics and Epigraphy.
- One year of field experience and practical training in Numismatics and Epigraphy.
3. Curator (Paintings and Miniatures) –
- Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Museology/ History of Art; or
- Museology or equivalent from a recognized University with a Master’s Degree in Indian History/ Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit/ Persian/ Arabic/ Archaeology/ Anthropology/ Fine Arts.
- Five years experience in a museum of national/ regional importance under Central Government/ State Government/ UT control;
- One year of research experience with evidence of published research work in the field of Illustrated Manuscripts, Indian Miniatures, and Indian Mural Paintings.
- One year of practical experience and training in Indian industry.
Age Limit:- Candidates’ upper age limit should be 56 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of application form.
