Eligibility Criteria for RRCAT Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
1. Secretarial Assistant trade –
- Candidate must have passed Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (English)” or “Secretarial Practice (English)” or Stenographer (English)
2. stenographer (Hindi) trade –
- Candidate must have passed “Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (Hindi)” or “Stenographer (Hindi)”.
Age Limits: Candidates’ age limit should be Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 22 years on the date of commencement of apprenticeship i.e. the date of birth of the candidates shall be from 23/08/2002 to 22/08/2006.
Amount of Stipend: The stipend is Rs.11,600/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand Six Hundred only) per month.
Selection Process for RRCAT Recruitment 2024
The selection process for Apprenticeship in RRCAT involves the selection of applications based on ITI completion after 2019. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 40% in their 10th class board examination. The merit list is determined by a formula consisting of one-third of the ITI marks and two-thirds of the 10th-class marks, rounded to two decimal places. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in the 10th class board examination.

Application Process for RRCAT Recruitment 2024
Candidates to apply for Apprenticeship in RRCAT, candidates must first register on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/. Fill all personal details including Aadhaar number correctly and upload scanned copies of required documents like date of birth certificate, 10th class marksheet, ITI certificate, photograph and signature. Next, visit the RRCAT Apprenticeship Portal, use the registration number from NAPS, and fill the online application form. Ensure all information is entered correctly before submitting.
